Sylvia is the visionary leader of Gift Africa, an assignment that she received from God to prepare the youth for the positive change coming to the continent of Africa. She’s passionate about maximising the potential of the youth.

According to the Population Reference Bureau, 75% of Africa's population will be below age 35, by 2030; that will make up 42% of the world's youth population.
​
“Our human capital in our youth could either make or break us as a continent and Gift Africa is here to ensure that our future leaders are equipped to lead with Christ-centred values and make a positive impact on the continent of Africa and beyond.”
According to Sylvia, the African youth does not lack talent, all they need is direction to harness their potential.

Sylvia is also the President of Soccer For Dreamers, a non profit founded by her three sons, whose mission is to support underprivileged athletic groups in underserved areas in Ghana.
Soccer For Dreamers, under Sylvia's leadership, has been featured by BBC Africa and has also embarked on a groundbreaking initiative called Ubuntu Mastery. This initiative is dedicated to bridging the education gap in Africa by providing free leadership and personal development training to the youth. This includes a free online platform, ubuntuonlineacademy.org which is rapidly gaining traction.

Apart from her philanthropic work, Sylvia is also an entrepreneur, CEO of Jouer Designs, a fashion lifestyle brand including www.nalahwoman.com
Sylvia is married and has three sons.
